Reading through all the posts here it is obvious that whatever side you are on, everyone including the scientist, directly or indirectly, agree on one thing, THE CLIMATE CHANGES.
It gets hot, it gets cold then it gets hot again!
Even allowing that some how humans have had some effect on it this time round, it going to change anyway irrespective of what humans do (or don't do) just as it has since year dot!
Sure we may have brought the warming (or cooling) process a bit forward this time around but ultimately its going to do what its always done and humans can do NOTHING to prevent it.
So what should we do, sit on our hands?
No. We should prepare to learn to adapt and live with it.
And as for this carbon tax, its nothing but a cash-cow for governments and big business.
