Misty, Rudd/Swann by giving cash handouts to people on $100k and less is a complete waste of money and imho will do nothing for the economy. You say that many receiving the cash will need it to weather the economic woes. Unbelievable statement imo. Give me 99k p.a. and I'll certainly weather anything the economy can throw at me. Lots of people on say $99k shouldn't need $900 unless they have a greed problem or through their own fault have got themselves into too much debt. But I guess the kids could get a rise in their pocket money. People on under say 50k could have got double and leave the well off ones out of the handouts. Anyway,the 1st handouts were not the success that the govt and alp followers say they were and this lot will be no different. As usual labour are trying unsuccessfully to spend their way out of economic trouble.
