Dollar cost averaging is an effective way of accumulating, and can result in a lower average compared to just going "all in " with a single purchase, and PRAYING you bought at the bottom, and then WISHING you had more cash to buy more after it falls. In fact, with a volatile stock such as this, it is a wiser way to purchase IMO. Not sure about your "Gamblers Ruin" statement. Just trying create some fear?
