Say you sell out today, and 9am Monday Revascor data comes out in conjunction with a partnership. markets open at $8. you have not only missed out, you will probably panic buy and watch it sink back to $6~ until the next announcement. some of us have decided that the price of holding the stock that will likely decline short term is worth not being caught out missing the good news.
Also I don't mean to be a bastard/bragger, but some of us are still holding an average less than 2, and will be continue to hold for the long term. If you can play the markets on the time scale of days/weeks good for you, but I personally find it easier to just hold and get on with life in the mean time.
