Safran has been mentioned many times on this forum because they have previously collaborated with Brainchip on machine vision inspection systems for harness inspection.

Safran has recently released a video showing off their "e-inspection" project, which uses "intelligent cameras" to inspect and detect errors in electrical rail assembly modules. This is a task Akida would excel at, providing further potential gains in time saved and efficiencies. See the link below.

This sounds remarkably similar to what they were trying to achieve in their initial collaboration woth Brainchip.

You'll also note that a few weeks ago (roughly the same time there were talks of releasing Akida to EAP customers) I mentioned Safran advertised the following related jobs:
-Image Processing Engineer,
-System Integration and Test Engineer (Verification and Validation of embedded applications for devices such as FPGA's (think Akida) as well as testing developmental technology and prototype systems.
-Software Engineer (desirable: experience with parallel programming and FPGAs, cybersecurity experience)

The requirements and timing of these jobs were really strong indicators to me of a potential collaboration.

Finally, Safran is a 'Fortune 500 Global' company (currently ranked 451). While this is technically a different list than the Fortune 500, it's possible LDN was generalising when he mentioned several Fortune 500 companies being interested.

I think there is a good chance they may be one of the customers LDN alluded to.
