Sure I can - a takeover. or a Marketing/development deal. Neither of those things require a merger. The merger is simply buying time. Have to say, its a bit silly all this drona bashing. Do you guys know what he's been doing to make things work? So far as I can see, the trial results are as good as possible and they are in active negotiations with big pharma. Further, they've snaffled a potentially helpful merger deal. Have a look around the rest of the biotech field before you start jumping up and down. Who else exactly is setting the world on fire? The economy is up the creek here and in the US and Europe where all the big guys are. Drona's timing in taking over hasn't been great, but it's hardly been all his fault things have gone south. Sometimes, if circumstances conspire, there's just nothing you can do. let's wait and see where all these things take us before getting too cranky.
