Details of MinMetals offer are very clear:
If sale of Martabe and GG exceed $425 mill , then the offer will increase from $400m upwards divided by the fully diluted number of OZ shares. ie to get 3 more cents, we would have to get about $500 mill for the two.
They knew what the offers were likely to be - so that's why they structered it this way. Must be done by the 27th or if there is an extention date, by that date. Our Banks will extend and I'm sure the overseas Banks will - so deal(s) will go through. The offer mentions $US everywhere - so you can surmise that the all $ are US$. M.
