Well Chumpinater, I think you are probably right , that the "great unwashed in suburbia have probably have never heard of Opes". Well I for one doubtless fall into the class of being an average aussie , and proud of it I might add .

As one who has had his retirement savings stolen in this sordid affair and will be offered a small percentage as compensation ( in an effort to obtain a Global settlement ) it will be my life's mission to obtain full restitution of the amount involved.

I have never stolen from anybody , have had a trouble free life untill this relationship between the ANZ and Opes went pear shape, having never heard of securitie's lending , and having an abhorrance of short selling.

Well my learned friend ,Mr Smith and his advisers will need to employ the best public relations people to counter the constant and relentless barrage of facts surrounding this affair.

Their is a latent feeling of hatred in the financial community for a great majority of the victims of this scam, the details of which I will not go int detail as you will be made aware of them by all manner of media presentation ,and others which it is timely not to reveal.

I personally will not stop ventilating the truth in this matter untill full restitution or I draw my last breath.
