Absolutely nothing wrong with the update. The background of an unobtrusively furbished room was easy on the eye and did not detract from LDN’s delivery. Neither did the slides, which were clear, simple, free of distracting graphics and easy to reference at a glance. The message came over loud and clear.

To me it was testament to the honesty and confidence of the company that the update was presented plainly with a commendable absence of the glib and oily art.

Because that’s what it was. A shareholder update, an embrace of the converted, not a glossy play to attract new investors or customers. I for one applaud this forthright “fireside chat” approach to shareholder communication.

The barrage of hand-wringing at font selection, slide background choice, absence of branding and other jejune considerations when measured against the information imparted is really quite astonishing. Let’s hope it does not anticipate another round of Brainchip-bashing the likes of which we endured last month in what in retrospect looks like a co-ordinated campaign to shake confidence in the company.

I thank Lou and the company for their consideration in sharing this information and look forward to further updates.
