If a company doesn't have the small stuff sorted, what are they odds they've missed something in the big stuff? (there's a typo in that press release, too BTW - sloppy, and if it were a number in a govt. application, possibly critical).
For my money, it is downright strange that 50 years after metrification, a press release for a company pushing future tech, has used imperial not SI units. And it's not even like those acres optioned were a neat number - which would have been a barely acceptable reason to maintain that measure.
Yes, the renewal **is** important, because it telegraphs at least a 12 month delay to the timeline that was set when they first optioned the land. (Did you join those dots?) But for me, an LT holder, it's just another canary in a coalmine of a slew of delays by $AVL that do not seem to be leading to any measurable investment decision conclusion. Spoiler alert: if the V price is at current levels in 12 months time, we will likely see **another** extension to the land option... if we still have cash in the bank.
