one thing with the FHOG is that for a new home, they just need to have contracts signed by 30 june 2009 for the grant to be paid. and construction in the next year.

So this should keep activity going for another year and unemployment in this sector. But I agree that the FHOG will be extended if they have spent all the money planned ie allow carryover into next year.
