    Red: Your scenario only applies to large cities, and even then, the logic in your argument is non-existant.

    Forgetting about your lack of logic for the moment, millions of Australian's reside in regional locations where the concepts that apply to inner-city and outer-suburb market segments are irrelevent.

    So again, you provide more sweeping statements that only apply to some of the market segments within the Australian property market, such as Capital Cities.

    And with interest rates at 45 year lows, and trending lower, regardless of FHB grants, affordable detached houses will be highly sought after, by FHB's, investors and downsizers.

    That trend will only strengthen over the medium to long term, not vanish into thin air, as you seem to argue.
