Given you've called for speculation, here's my take, for what it's worth.....
I think the share price has held up remarkably well, the last few sessions notwithstanding, given the performance of the market since Xmas.
I'd see a sale of I/P (takeover, by any other name)as being a more likely scenario than a partnership with big pharma. Given the potential blue-sky, any offer would have to be well in excess of the recent 40c territory the stock's been trading in, and that the current weakness is thus not much of a concern.
Having said that, I'm holding rather than buying in further to the current weakness, as the risk/greed equation needs balancing....
