Ill preface my comments by saying I love this business and it will eventally succeed big time

Zac sydney if you have been a shareholder from almost day one( thats another assumption), been to every AGM and talked to Ian and Graham in years gone by and regularly and seen Ian's frugal approach to all staffing you will appreciate that he has developed this business on a shoe string budget .Perhaps you might like to reinterpret my comments. It was not a criticism of Ian or his staff.,its a statement of fact. HOW MUCH SPARE TIME DOES THE MAN HAVE He has about ten roles to play and he is an accountant.. From a business point of view its a priority to maintain cashflow so you can pay the bills but its also important in protecting the company and its shareholders from the need for future cash raising

If you want to get me really excited about the history of this company go back and see my previous posts about poor market penetration and lack of closure on deals .Ian has been very reluctant to put on just anybody to sell the product as 3dp lost the best part of a year in the initial push into the states with poor staff choices.(thats a fact)
This company from day one did not expect to have to grow staff numbers by very much at all (mentioned at an AGM)as it seemed to be assumed that they would not need salemen on the ground as the product would sell on line. The fact is probably very few large companies sign up without personal contact with a sales/tech person. Its obviously not as simple as installing an app.and I get the feeling that very few clients want the off the shelf product without personalised analytics. If you think their sales penetration is good ask yourself how many world wide sales they have made in countries without sales staff present. In fact ask Ian.. He held back a long time before he considered any additional sales staff were needed.
I sold most of my shares in the 20s for two reasons. One I held on years back when it went rapidly into the teens and tumbled back down and I didnt sell and, to even me the most avid lover of the product its obviously overvalued. Still holding some but they will be adored by my grandkids

I can understand the need to keep talking about opportunities for this business and quite frankly the latest so called opportunity with the military has been floating around for years particularly since the days when contact was made with Bentley systems
The problem is we all forget the difference between companies 3dp markets to and the companies we sell to. We also take too much out of our so called partnerships with a whole lot of listed companies when in many cases they are to quote Ian companies we are collaborating with.

Still waiting for the large North American rail company mentioned in company announcements and the AGM over 12 months ago to sign up or is it just another one of those tempting tasty marketing morsels to get us excited As an ex professional salesman I sometimes think that salesman drive past large compamies without making contact then post a picture of themselves outside the premises to post on the company website. Didnt we all get excited about the picture of Ian outside Google with his brief case. Did he actually have an appointment there or not...who cares the shares went up ....Now thats the difference between sales and marketing. and thats why we shouldnt get too excited when names such as the US military gets dropped in a quarterly report. along with Autocad with 8 million users and Bentley systems and a whole lot of other companies that have slipped from memory along the way.. When I heard at one AGM that the target market was 3700 energy/ infrastructure funds I got so excited. ,but thats marketing Two or 3 years on and I guess we have signed up less than ten of those companies and the reality hits , but thats sales. The remainder are potential customers ..
I believe in 3DP they will eventually make it and you can be damn pleased that Ian is committed and will keep promoting the company.
But hold onto your wallet as marketing is time consuming and absorbs a heap of money..
My last post ever. I,ll sit back and wait to be called a downramper. Prefer to be called a realist and at these prices a gambler
    Good luck to all holders
