Kahunas post has some merit.

I have pondered this for some time and I sometimes enjoy the debate on general...dig deep enough and there is some decent thought provoking stuff if that is your thing. If not...simply ignore it.

Regarding quality of posts and/or posters....

ok...first ask what it is that you expect from a forum such as this?
pure speculation would be the kindest analysis...some more cynical would suggest that there is hidden agendas behind the rampant postings of some.

Having been a memeber for some time I have been fortunate to experience the assistance of some very good people.
I rate rembrandt as one that I hold in highest regard...strangely enough I rate Alpha very highlyalso. I say strangely because I witnessed a verbal exchange that almost shocked me some time back.
I have always had my fav's as I am sure most do.
acouch is without doubt the most knowledebale person I have had the pleasure of corrsponding with in regards to sharing chart analysis.(Never have I seen a bad word from her against anyone, whether or not they agree with her analysis).
One other for different reasons I hold in high regard..this guy posts here little these days...but if you can get him to discuss his reasons for his thoughts you may benifit from the business acumen Ridge has.
I could name some others but hey I would get accused of supporting a group of people that frequent another site and in so doing would be accused of having an agenda.

Kahuna has a style of investing that is not for the punters of penny dreadfulls (from what I have read) and in the long term you would be crazy not to give him credence.
However, if we all invested with the same mind set then the small caps would not get off the ground (no offence intended Kahuna).

Whilst I kill time while the missus is on a nite out (only 10.30 as I type in Perth, I wonder what exactly the members expect (lack of feed back from hc and poor timings accepted as not good form).

The simple reality is that there can be little beneficial debate with stocks...you are either for or against (somewhat similar to the general section?).

I don't read every post on hc and to seperate the 'ramps' from the 'enthusiasts' requires some diligence but I wonder what the majority actaully want?
It is a share forum that encourages input from everyone..be they experienced traders or simply punters with a view.
How do you sort out fact from fiction?
Simply..you bloody can't! no matter how good the calls of the poster, they get it wrong...often.

The long winded repsonse to Kuhana is when you get good enough not to rely on sites like HC to improve your wealth, simply give not take...because the odd ones that listen to the few well chosen words will one day benifit and they may in turn give back so the cycle may continue.
In the meantime...enjoy the difference because if we were all the same, how boring life would become.

hmmmm..ok..a lot of prattle for a Sat' nite.
