A known deceptive a technique, rarely talked about on HC. So, depends on the integrity of the Geo/geo team doing the analysis. You get the idea though When you read the term "true width" this is what it refers to! The true width in many cases is certainly not the width recorded in each hit (the beginning width) but, much less & somewhere between that width recorded & the higher grade width.
