black monday It would have been good to receive some news as to why. The Kenya 2D costs was small potatoes to Woodside and I am not surprised that there was no announcement.
Two possibilities - low potential and focusing on Mauritania. Given the $2billion cost of developing Tiof they may need their funds. Woodside still have the deep water area in JV with others as far as I am aware. Any news on this ? It may provide some indication as to the regional potential.
I am out of PCL, sticking to HDR and ROC from now on.
