This is exactly what it will take for BNPL to succeed in Asia.
The biggest issue for BNPL in South East Asia isn't convincing consumers, it's convincing merchants. The merchant uptake of BNPL in South East Asia has been extremely slow compared with Australia, UK and US.
The model being put forward by IOU has the highest probably for success imo.
