I own shares too and consider both investments to have their place.
Smart property investment allows the investor to add value through development or renovation, something you simply cannot do with shares.
Well located doesn't only mean blue ribbon suburbs. A block of land adjacent to a train station in a currently "undesirable location" is well located. A large block in an R3 zone is well located.
