If they elect to return the taxpayer funds that they have willingly taken when they clearly haven't needed them, then the company has a small window of opportunity right now to cast itself as a good corporate citizen.
However if Adairs choses to pocket these funds, then an example is about to be made of this company, in a big way.

Shareholders can be rest assured that returning the funds will have a negligible if any effect on the company's share price because these funds were a once-off credit. However, failure to return funds resulting in corresponding coverage will accordingly ensure a negative net effect for shareholder value.
