Actually it was the bankers they had to convince to get that 5% interest rate.
As for shipping, they had the financial strength to moderate production to resolve the issues and control output so as not to be constantly begging offtakers to take product at any price.
Would have been terrible for the industry if PLS had run at a full rate.
The Chinese market was having a hard enough time absorbing the product AJM was forced to sell at pricing well below their contractual floors to appease their noteholders.
