Update on the missing dividend: all my details correct and box ticked to electronically receive payment.
However at NEC end they claim to have not received this instruction. I asked if they had issued a cheque and the reply was that they don't do that and basically hold the funds.
At the risk of over sharing have told my story to encourage others to do a quick check of your divvy paying stocks in case a computer glitch has robbed you too.
