There is a lot of anger here towoards the shorters ... I think it's a bit meh unless you are trading short term. Some companies are bad and deserve to get shorted. Reality always wins in the long term and even a capital raise at a suppressed price is not necessarily bad news unlessss they have a crappy institutional discounted placement. A discounted renounceable rights issue would be OK IMO and would give me an even better entry point. If it turns out that the shorters were right or wrong, then it has been handy for current buyers because they have either inflated my future profits or reduced my current losses for the same quantity of shares bought today. If you really believe that the shorters are in trouble, then there may be a short squeeze ... trick will be liquidating during the squeeze and the buying back after the pop .... too tricky for me.
