One thing most people loose after consolidation is the old price a new group move in and bang its forgoten . They start to think ok its back to 20c thats good but you have to keep in mind thats 2c pre consol and that awfull , dont let them get away with that ! Now having said that i spent a few hours yesterday in a Perth Restaurant with a chap in the know on our little Gem and yes it is feasable for us to get earnings of $1.23 to anything depends on the price of coal as we get closser to production (i believe the price will recover ). He agreed with me on the timing of consolidation and disagreed with management on the need for it to be done 1st half 09 , however its done now . And as much as this hurts me to say he still thinks PJ and team are the some of the best coalers in the business . And yes this blew me away and i noted it in a previous post COAL SEAM GAS was on the cards . I know we are hurting but only in the share price because the project is moving forward with blinkers off .
