Ilmenite concentrate from the CUP comprises 44.3% of the HMC (close enough to your Ilm + Leuc average)



Then reduce that figure to 82.8% reflecting losses in the Ilmenite Upgrade Process

Then reduce figure again to 82.8% reflecting losses in the Ilmenite Roast Process

32.7% ilm is recovered from 44.3% of HMC reporting to the Ilm concentrate. This is shizen housen, as is the rutile, the zircon not much better and the leucoxene is roughly 1/3 to ilm con, 1/3 to non-mag and 1/3 lost. The real ilmenite content as produced is hidden away behind the details few know to look for, because... well, that's pretty obvious I think..

Please let me know if you can find a mine with a lower value assemblage...
