Hi Pharque99. A company cannot deliberately hold back good or bad news.
You saw the colour model last published. There was clearly a massive amount of work that had been done to come up with that but it was very hard to read it on my screen. They are probably still verifying all the data.
Bevan did say to me that they could announce the extra million ounces they foreshadowed before the AGM in the letter to shareholders but there'd be no point (being only inferred I believe). I think they will announce the upgrade in the reserves when they have checked and double-checked. I think you will find that Frank is no amateur and certainly not a showman.
I think I'd be more concerned at frequent announcements with exclamation marks beside them designed to impress the market! Strangely I am quite comforted by the lack of announcements coupled with the conversations i have had.
We all know that reserves are what count, preferably measured and at least indicated of course. Inferred ounces aren't valued anywhere near as highly as measured and indicated.
When they do make the announcement it will be a very significant upgrade not just of inferred ounces but real reserves. We'll just need to be patient!
