Nope,not short,medium or long term.
Where are googles internet balloons.? I believe they are some where in far north QLD and telstra is wasting their time in the research with google.
Even if elon gets one satellite up in low orbit he must first get some 12ghz spectrum ,thats the frequency they want from ACMA and so do all telcos and defence co's,then if that one remote area satellite gets in the way of Australian military satellite connectivity I would expect our military will use elon's low orbit satellite as target practice.
Plus reliability ,pricing not that great etc.
