$0.335 was the top for a start, not $0.33...and if you aren't selling in the first hour on news these days, then you aren't much of a trader champ....incidentally the smugness only came out after this comment by Doudou

Think it's just about always been that way, hasn't it? I got out within the first hour this morning, and do with pretty much everything.

No doubt demand for stock will increase as the ex date approaches, as people chase the dividend, but more than likely, one would be able to trade it fairly profitably before then.

Poly, I share your sentiments....IMO SSM will fall in the next few days, and I intend to jump back on it when it does...and once again it will appreciate as the ex date approaches...but I will be selling before that, that's for sure, because once the ex date passes SSM will get smashed...I'm more than happy to scrape a few cents out of it...someone else can have the dividend.
