Holding almost 1.1m BPHOA options averaging 3.1c or almost 70% of my entire little portfolio formed over the last 5 years of retail trading on my Westpac Investment app at $19.95 per transaction (up to over $9.8K in transaction fees now, hahaha Westpac must love me) with various amounts of success.
Being a blue collar tradie have only built with spare funds scraped together $250 at a time so that if I lost the lot, though disappointing it would not be the end of the world.
Really find all the different company commentary and research an interesting distraction from the 9-5 everyday humdrum. So much diversity in Food, Tech, Financial, Medical and Resource companies a lot with noble intentions in their own right.
Learnt the hard way early days by simply not selecting the right shares then later progressing to selecting better shares but with awful entry exit strategy now finally in the last 12 months or so starting to see some results slowly. Experience I suppose!
I let A2M get away from me, buying at 96c originally selling at $2.00 thinking I was a genius only to see it go to over $20 a share 2 or so years later.
Got hit hard in Feb March this year like a lot of others but have scrambled back from the brink with some nice wins the past few months but been sitting here for what seems like an eternity now waiting for NOPTA and the big announcement. Hopefully there are no last second hurdles.
It’s taken me over 5-1/2 years to learn some patience, now hopefully I just need to get my exit timing right.
Apology for the mini rant but I don’t post much on HC but do enjoy everyone’s input.
