Actually go2eshop, I think the subtlety of that theory is that the shorters are trying to force MQG to raise capital _at a deep discount_ so that the shorters themselves can buy at much lower prices. Of all the possible explanations for the price activity, it seems the most likely explanation for the weird price activity to me considering AWB and ANZ.
