We do not need China.
Our mistake was to focus on this huge market and forget that other markets are there for our fantastic products.
We have already paid the price for this and China will continue to meddle in Australian affairs as long as we let them.
The vote for Labor, was in my opinion, a vote for China.
Our beef prices are still very good and the World is hungry for our clean product.
New takers for our Barley have also been found ( have a look at Landline program today). China will regret its decision.
Wine will also not be a problem in the long run.
The World is slowly waking up to China's way of doing business, they are never to be trusted and do not understand fair trade.
Labor has no interest in Farming, had Deb won we would have had a chance at better water prices and some new Dam infrastructure but it is the heavily populated areas that call the shots, rural Queensland just does not have the numbers.
Queensland farmers will now have to continue to put up with Labors Green tape on top of the Red tape and people in the cities will continue to produce nothing but bits of paper while we feed them.
Maybe it is the way things are meant to be.
