I've discussed the long tail before. The only customers that count are the Big Spenders. The fatal flaw of BNPL is that is doesn't charge an account keeping fee or minimum spend (like a CC) to clear out the dead wood. As the business progresses It just ends up with more non-spending customers on the books. These are either worthless or an ongoing cost.
