Still doesn’t make sense to me as to how a stock can voluntarily suspend trading for a week due to legal action. Why not work on the terms of the settlement behind the scenes, make an announcement, then resume trading?
This could stretch on for many weeks more - we all know what lawyers are like.
Companies enter litigation every month of every year they operate without voluntarily suspending their trading. At this rate you can’t say BUD didn’t expect this to take weeks.
The original halt was due to a pending announcement - what’s taking so long to finalise this??
