And if you didn't know already, we have had an annual "TRADE SURPLUS" with China, of about USD $70B per year. Note, you normally start a trade war if you are in a Trade deficit (like the US) not when you have a Huge Trade surplus (lol).
That Annual Trade Surplus is equivalent to 150% of the JOBKEEPER programme.
And we had derived this benefit for nearly 30 years. That was why we haven't had a recession for 29 years, until this year.
In any case, a large part of the "Social Security" money you received (eg pension, unemployment) was paid for by those surpluses.
