Some of the delay in going to full production, back in 2018 I think(?), was as a result of feedback from potential clients. I think the team has done a lot of work making sure that the chip is what EAP customers want. The real question is whether the commercial customers have the capacity to start using Akida 1000 straight away - hence the EAP is designed to provide technical assistance from BRN to help them along. Of course BRN is already working on Akida 2000 (and further generations) and these will have the opportunity to incorporate early feedback from Akida 1000. I reckon the key BRN players know where they are heading.
