I agree with you but what we think is irrelevant because in the below research article from Valeo in 2019 BrainChip AKIDA technology is validated for 3D point LiDAR in the automotive industry and is probably one of the reasons the CEO has stated AKD1000 is finding a sweet spot with LiDAR:
