Now you are making me feel old/er. I recall those old vacuum valves, the radios that used them and the lead-acid batteries that powered them. I also recall assembling a crystal set from a single diode, a coil and a variable capacitor. By connecting aerial and earth it was possible to hear local am stations on a set of low impedance headphones. The progress from those days to Weebit’s technology is almost impossible to comprehend.
