It does sound fascinating. I work in the operating theatre as a nurse and I could see this happening in the future although things like this do take abit of time to put into place especially in the public sector. At the present time robotics are getting bigger by the year and the surgeon controls the robot via a separate console . Robotic surgery gives the patient a better outcome basically a result in which humans hands could never reach. The cut doesn’t have to be as big, this results in faster healing times and the patient reduces there hospital stay. Tech and robotics is definitely the future , although to set the robot up at the present time requires human contact.
