I don't hold STO but have looked at buying it.

Like one other poster above, you shouldn't be criticising STO in the way you have as it seems to me to be a well run company that provides essential energy to Australians whether they be individuals, corporates, non profit or government departments/authorities.

Very unfair to those who work for STO and to pleasant towns like Narrabri NSW (I live about 1500km from it, but have been through it a few times) that hope in time to benefit from the exciting new project in that area that will help to supply so many along the east coast of Australia with gas.

Would you prefer to see STO owned by foreigners like communist mainland Chinese companies? Perhaps they too might do a good job, but the profits would no longer partly end up as dividends in the hands of Australian citizens.
