I disagree with your belief that “Optus... is still profitable”. depends on your view of Australia’s transfer pricing, accounting/ Government tax incentives. SingTel is not listed in Australia and does not have Australian GAAP results, so in this Biden era, that whole area might get a rethink.
IMHO Optus is history and SingTel is a song that has sung itself out.
TLS well placed to takeover and the market share of Optus is now TLS’ to lose.
Think the great times for TLS are ahead of her.
