The problem with wave one covid reporting was the confusion so many people had over community transmission cases vs returned traveller cases.
On the cedar meats issue where community transmission cases came to the fore I did happen to call that out as a warning shot over the bow to Victoria that something wasn't quite right with covid management in Vic even while stage 3 was ongoing.
