personally think the bottom for this calendar year or maybe the next 6 months is not necessarily a number but a date/time and i don't think its too far away. there is a lot of irrational buying/selling atm which is a good sign, eg Alcoa up 13% one day down 16% the next day. im pretty confident we will see the bottom by the end of this month as the effect of parts of the stimilus package kick in and hopefully the rate of unemployment stabilises. however probably towards the end of this year we are all in for a lot more pain. just my opinion.
