What the end game is I can't understand. You could be spot on with the closing of short positions but then I'm not sure how they are achieving this when the 31.5 line got wiped and we touched on 31's only to close at 32 again.

There was no volume all morning then we close with 2mill.

Just looks like someone is playing with themselves but I don't get how that is profitable.

Given the broad market rally, oil recovered almost completely from Friday's drop and all other oilers were up at least 1% I can only think that SXY is going to bolt once the reins are let go.
More patience I suppose :-(
