The auditor's gave the only answer they could. The Accounting Standard doesn't require this disclosure so it's not up to the auditors. The question was misdirected.
Yes, I would like the information also. Gross WIP and Provision would be a valuable disclosure.
The recent case is not material. Shareholder CAs are not a material part of their work, the fact that insurance companies are the defendants in these matters is of no relevance to insurance companies defending PI or other types of CA matters. The Company at its AGM today reiterated their forecast for FY 2021 (previously made prior to the decision) so they have confirmed the non-materiality of the impact of the case.
