Joel is on a winner. As part of the right faction of the ALP he is closer to the centre.
That is where most of the votes are.
As he rightly pointed out, the ALP has done NOTHING about AGW for years because they haven't been in government.
Joel has more brains than the rest of the ALP shadow front bench put together.
