With respect, that statement by you is just plain wrong and misleading.
ANZ sold 56 Million SLA shares. Yes the share price is pennies now, but as soon as somebody tried to buy back even one million, the share price would over one dollar!!!! To buy back 56 million shares would be impossible and you know it!!!
The same would apply to any share you care to identify.
Giving back people peanuts for their shares and then saying they could buy back their holding plus more is just misrepresentation.
If you expect people to take your comments as even handed, you will need to be more circumspect.
People are not stupid!!!
