Unfortunately GPT's business is in the worst possible sector to be in. As this deep recession bites hard in the next 18 months, commercial property will get slaughtered.
40% asset impairments would not surprise at all. Having said that, most of the haircut is probably factored in..... unless they breach a debt covenant and then it will get uglier.
