Biotron BIT COVID19, page-152

A Pharma Co in the US named https://www.ptcbio.com/PTC Pharmaceuticals (no i'm not cross marketing) has a patent published on the 8/10/2020 one of the many combination compounds they are investigating in the patent with their repurposed compound PTC299 is BIT225.

PTC299 was originally for cancer treatment and is now in clinical trials for covid, announced June 19 2020. The original Patent Application was about 4 weeks after the trial was announced on the 23/06/2020, which suggests they are investigating other compounds with PTC299 for coronavirus, HEP, HIV etc. (as per patent)

I don't know if Biotron (or staff) has any past association with PTC Pharma, but Its interesting that this is the first patent application that that I have seen for Coronavirus that has a mention of BIT225, and as MM has suggested there are further tests iminent on a number of Biotron compounds pending, I wonder if PTC Pharmaceuticals may be involved - if they are (currently US$58) BIT could see a bright future!
