people will want to acquire stock for div but none or not much is available, short term traders have sold, the price is not dropping so if you now want in you will find you will have to pay, as you said its hard to get stock, unless you are going to bid higher & higher, i believe lots are waiting for the price to drop back " dream on " ;))
