There’s a global pool of copper supply.
It’s seriously under pressure after a decade of gross under investment
new supply is limited - that’s why RIO is rushing Winu.
If China takes their purchasing elsewhere, all it does is move end users around. Whoever they crowd out elsewhere just comes and takes what China is not buying from us.
Sure, it’s a nuisance but the broad thematic vastly surpasses this particular shell game.
Meanwhile copper itself merrily bubbles along, which is all an explorer needs anyway.
